A Fresh Start

Many things are new to me at the moment. This blog for example. I had one I created in 2001, displaying only the two postings I ever contributed. Over the years, feeling the need express myself in a whimsical, literary way, I occasionally keyed in the url, only to find an outdated, obnoxiously colorful page. Due to a recent proposal by Mikey and plans to move out west in the fall, I am again channeling the need to write, this time in a blog instead of by hand in my standard and generic notebook. That method was good enough, but my urge to write often went unsatisfied. I'm MUCH more likely to key thoughts into my computer than dig for my notebook, often not nearby. That, and I recently saw a picture of Britney Spears between stints at rehab carrying her 'journal' (and dog and cigarettes) which was the same Composition book I often use. Time to move on. Wipe out the old blog and start fresh.
