Happy Groundhog Day! According to fox news, we have another 6 weeks of winter. Go figure.

It was a great weekend! On Saturday, Mike and I joined our friends, Megan and Dan, to participate in the Polar Bear Plunge on White Bear Lake. I'll post pictures of us doing cannonballs into the freezing cold water. Good stuff. Refreshing, heart stopping, and of course, ridiculously cold, despite the *warm* temp of 45 degrees.

But, there is a more pressing issue at the moment. When I arrived to work this morning, my badge didn't work. I didn't think much of it - my badge is buried in my purse and doesn't always read unless I dig it out and rub the badge against the reader. Happily, there was a man behind me who let me in.

Well, when I got to my desk, the issue was confirmed. Upon trying to login to my laptop, I got an error telling me that my "account has expired." Ugh.

Next step was a call to tech support. They could no longer find my profile in the system. With more research, the tech support man found me and saw that my profile expired on Jan 31, 2009. Hmmm...

I was able to escalate the matter and was told it should be fixed by tomorrow morning. One can hope!
